The event was met with jubilation by the crowds of people who gathered on Lenin Street where the city council is located.
There is now only the flag of Sevastopol on the city council’s flagpole.
Earlier, a Ukrainian national flag was taken off the Sevastopol state
administration. As a result, today there are no national flags on any
of the administrative buildings in central Sevastopol.
The city council has not commented on this information yet. Attempts
to reach the city council spokesperson by phone have been unsuccessful.
