Victims of famine that took place in 1932 and 33 are being honored in Ukraine. Official celebrations begin in the morning. Leading politicians, including all four presidents, lay flowers at monuments to the victims at the National Museum in Kyiv. The delegation then headed off to a location on the outskirts of Kyiv to set the cornerstone of a planned Memorial to Victims of Totalitarianism. Read more.
