Odesa International Airport in January-July 2012 increased passenger turnover by 11% from the same period in 2011, to 487,400 passengers.

According to the airport’s press service, passenger traffic on international flights increased by 8.5% and that on domestic flights was up by 22.5%.

In addition, Odesa airport in the first seven months of 2012 serviced 7,716 flights.

According to the press service, in July 2012 the airport serviced 105,900 people, which is 10% up from July 2011. Last month the airport serviced 1,590 flights.

According to a press release, Odesa airport continues to gradually increase the number of domestic flights in the total passenger traffic. Compared to the same period last year, passenger turnover on domestic flights increased by 22.5% and now the share of flights in Ukraine amounts to 21.3% of the total number of passengers.

As reported, Odesa international airport has passed another procedure of the airdrome complex certification and on August 2 received a certificate of conformity with the first category standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
