Traffic police officers in Kyiv have detained buses carrying Odesa entrepreneurs for a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, near the Exhibition Center, the press service of the Orange Revolution Participants Coalition reported early on July 9.

The buses were blocked by traffic police cars on the road and taken to the parking lot.

“Traffic police officers have refused to provide any explanations,
without naming the reason for detention. They only categorically state
that nobody will travel further,” reads the report.

“Now the entrepreneurs are in custody of not only their own, Odesa
police officers, who escorted them out of the city, but also Kyiv police
officers,” the coalition added.

Today, authorized representatives of food markets in Odesa planned to
hold a rally entitled “Odesa markets to Azarov for a ‘talk,'” in from
of the offices of the Regions Party.

The delegates of the entrepreneurs said that despite being detained,
they still believe that they can reach the appointed place on time and
hold a rally.
