The Olympiysky National Sports Complex has held its first seminar on the training of managers of stadiums, which was attended by colleagues from Moscow and St. Petersburg.

“Olympiysky will now provide services on the consulting and training of personnel for other arenas. Among the first ‘students’ of the NSC are the future managers of stadiums, architects and designers who are members of the Russian Association of Sports Facilities,” the stadium’s press service reported on Monday.

Ukraine’s main arena has prepared a three-day training program for them. The guests of the seminar learned how to design not just a stadium, but a multipurpose arena to earn a profit. Particular attention was paid to care of stadium grass.

“By the way, the guests noted the excellent condition of the grass at Olympiysky even after Euro 2012 and a recent concert, despite the fact that the pitch at the NSC is 100% natural,” the press service said.
