You're reading: Opora network registers infringements during elections, including 16 voter bribery cases

As of 1150, 389 infringements were registered at the extraordinary presidential election in Ukraine being held on Sunday, the Opora civil network has reported.

According to posting on the Web site of the organization, most of cases are the violation of the rules of the election campaigning (183 cases) and the creation of obstacles in holding the election campaign by candidates (119 cases). A total of 62 procedural infringements were registered.

The network reports that 16 voter bribery cases were registered, as well as 10 facts of participation and influence of officials on the course of the election campaign, eight cases of pressure on reporters and two cases of damaging ballot-boxes. There are cases of forgery of election documents, violation of secrecy of ballot and manipulations with ballots (one each).
