The parliamentary opposition demands that the issues of Ukraine's course to European integration, the decriminalization of a number of articles of the Criminal Code, and an amnesty bill be added to the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament.

“We demand that the issue on Ukraine’s European integration be added
to the agenda of the session,” Batkivschyna parliamentary faction head
Arseniy Yatseniuk said in parliament on Thursday.

He said that the opposition also wants the parliament to consider the
issue of the decriminalization of articles of the Criminal Code that
could help release former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and
former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko from prison.

Yatseniuk also stressed that the opposition demands that an amnesty
bill submitted by the three opposition factions be put on the agenda of
the session.

He added that the problem with individual voting at parliamentary sittings also has to be solved.

“The Rada-3 computer system has not yet been launched as of today,” he said.

Yatseniuk stressed that the opposition would work only when its demands are satisfied.

“Otherwise we won’t work,” he said.

While Yatseniuk was speaking, the opposition blocked the presidium
and the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, following which Verkhovna Rada
Chairman Volodymyr Rybak announced a break in the sitting and invited
the heads of all factions to a meeting.
