The OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers will convene in Kyiv on Dec. 5-6, the Russian Foreign Ministry has announced.

“Russian State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin met with Ukrainian Ambassador to the Russian Federation Volodymyr Yelchenko on Sept. 18,” the ministry Web site reported on Wednesday.

“The sides conferred on certain subjects of Russian-Ukrainian bilateral cooperation and some issues related to the Ukrainian chairmanship of the OSCE, as well as preparations for the Kyiv session of the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers due on Dec. 5-6,” the ministry said.
