OSCE makes proposals on security during elections in Donbas

MOSCOW/VIENNA – The issue of sending the OSCE police mission to Donbas is being considered in the context of ensuring the security of elections in the region, while the organization has made proposals in this regard.

“The issue of security during local elections in eastern Ukraine is one of important subjects for discussion between the “Normandy Four” countries. The OSCE has made its proposals in this regard, they are now being considered,” spokesperson for the OSCE chairman told Interfax.

Saying this, he answered the question when and in which regions of Ukraine the OSCE police mission could appear and what its functions will be.
