Foreign hospitals continue providing medical treatment for 173 Ukrainians injured during protests in Independence Square (Maidan) in central Kyiv.

Sixty-five of them are undergoing a treatment or rehabilitation
courses in Poland, 31 in the Czech Republic, 23 in Slovakia, 16 in
Germany, nine in Lithuania, seven in Austria, six in Latvia, five in
Italy, five in Israel, five in Estonia, and one in Sweden, Ukrainian
Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said at a briefing in Kyiv
on Friday.

“Seventy-three people have already returned to Ukraine after completing their treatment,” he added.

Ukrainian diplomatic missions have received no complaints from the
Ukrainians treated abroad, Perebyinis said. Transportation of these
people is arranged through ‘sanitary’ flights on the aircraft of
Ukraine’s foreign partners. In particular, eight such flights have
already been performed by Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany and
Romania.

The people are also flown on regular commercial flights at the
expense of a hosting party, charitable or humanitarian organizations.
