More than 26,000 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have received over Hr 118 million for participation in hostilities in the war-torn zone, the head of the communications department of the Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-Colonel Oksana Havryliuk has stated.

“At present some 1,500 anti-terrorist operation fighters have received Hr 4.763 million for performance of combat missions, more than 26,000 soldiers got over Hr 118 million for direct participation in hostilities,” she said at a briefing in Kyiv.

In addition, she said about Hr 4 million would be paid to 805 soldiers for participation in combat operations in the near future.

The families of the deceased members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been paid Hr 1.197 billion of one-time financial aid, while Hr 409 million was paid in assistance to Ukrainian soldiers in connection with injury and disability.
