Parliament appoints Avakov acting interior minister

Verkhovna Rada has appointed MP Arsen Avakov acting Interior Minister of Ukraine, who will be performing his duties before the formation of a coalition government.

The decision was favored by 275 out of the 324 parliamentarians on Saturday.
