BYT-Batkivschyna faction has proposed to invite Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Gryshchenko to parliament to report on the situation with the boycott of matches of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship in Ukraine by European leaders.

"We have a proposal to invite Mr. Gryshchenko to report on Ukraine’s reaction to those demarches and boycotts, which are currently demonstrated by many European leaders," BYT- Batkivschyna faction member Andriy Kozhemiakin said at the parliament’s conciliatory council on May 14.

The Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense faction supported this proposal.

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn promised to find out whether Hryschenko’s schedule allows him to attend the parliament’s meeting.
