The Teremky station of Kyiv Metropoliten will be commissioned in the first half of this year, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov has said.

“The work was complicated because of the weather, delays in funding and other difficulties,” Popov said when examining the progress in the station’s construction.

However, he did not give an exact date, saying the station would be launched either before the Day of Kyiv or Constitution Day.

He said PJSC Kyivmetrobud had finished the two tunnels between the Ipodrom station and Teremky, and the station is 50% completed.

The total estimated cost of the construction of this section of the Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska subway line, which is about 1.1 km long, amounts to Hr 830.2 million. Some Hr 440 million has been spent and another Hr 478.2 million is needed to complete the work.
