President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on July 28 morning will take part in the festive celebrations on the occasion of honoring Day of Baptism of Kyivan Rus-Ukraine.

The event will be held on St. Volodymyr’s Hill at 8:30, the press service of the Ukrainian president said on July 27.

As reported, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) is holding a prayer service on the occasion of the Baptism Day of Kyivan Rus on July 27.

The web site of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate announces holding of the sacred procession on July 28, which will start its procession from St. Volodymyr’s Cathedral in the Kyiv downtown to the monument of St. Prince Volodymyr on Volodymyr’s Hill after 12:00.
