ZAPORIZHIA – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has announced that a new modern Ukraine-produced engine for fighters to be developed soon.
“I’m sure that due to potential of scientific-design and manufacturing capabilities of our enterprises, soon we’ll make a new modern domestic-produced engine for the Ukrainian fighters,” he said during a meeting with officials and businessmen of Zaporizhia region on April 22.
Poroshenko has added that just five states have capacities to manufacture domestic aircraft.
