Ukraine's presidential administration will analyze the Tax Code after it is finally adopted by the Verkhovna Rada, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Iryna Akimova has said.

"We’ll discuss all issues linked to the Tax Code after it is voted for in parliament and it is submitted to the presidential administration… After this text comes to the administration, then we’ll analyze it," she told journalists in Kyiv on Wednesday.

"It makes no sense to discuss this document now, because there might be an endless amount of amendments made in parliament," Akimova said.

The Verkhovna Rada is currently considering amendments to the draft Tax Code. The document was adopted at first reading on Oct. 7.

The draft Tax Code includes 340 articles. A total of 4,879 amendments were proposed for the document.
