Law enforcement has virtually dismantled the main barricade on Hrushevskoho Street and moved almost as far as European Square and farther to the barricades surrounding Maidan.
The Maidan self-defense forces, covering themselves with shields, are receding towards Maidan.
Law enforcement is also trying to storm the barricade on Instytutska
Street, the closest to Maidan Square. They are using stun grenades.
An activist on the Maidan stage is calling on protestors not to
leave, but to hold their ground. The activist is also urging women to
gather in groups near the stage.
Berkut special police officers have already rounded up the Zhovtnevy
Palace which has also been occupied by protestors, an Interfax-Ukraine
correspondent said.
