Novo-Ogaryovo - Russian President Vladimir Putin said the bridge over the Kerch Strait should be able to carry motor vehicles and trains.

“We need a bridge that can carry both motor vehicles and trains,” Putin said while meeting with government officials.

Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov, for his part, said a feasibility study for the project will envision this possibility.

“We will also consider the option of a tunnel under the Kerch Strait,” Sokolov said.
