The longest singing marathon, which was held on the First National TV Channel and was included the Guinness Book of Records, lasted 110 hours live (along with its full broadcasting on the Internet).

"The world’s longest live singing marathon continued six more hours after breaking the previous record, which means that it not only broke the Italian record, but also set its own record. The previous record was set by Italy from September 21 to September 25, 2010 in Pesaro, and it amounted to 103 hours 9 minutes 26 seconds," the channel’s press service reported.

The record marathon started on the Web site of the social television network Say.tv at 5:30 a.m. on March 29, 2012 with a song by young singer Renata, and its live broadcast on the First National TV Channel and Era Channel began at 12:30 p.m. on March 31, 2012 with a song by Hero of Ukraine Nina Matviyenko. The final ended with a performance by Ukrainian people’s artist Taisiya Povaliy.

The record for the longest singing marathon by multiple singers was set on April 2 at 12 hours 39 minutes 27 seconds. The record was registered by representatives of the Guinness Book of Records and the National Registry of Ukraine.
