Laurent Corbaz, the head of International Committee of the Red Cross of operations for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, is due to visit Moscow on Aug. 19 to discuss the humanitarian situation in Ukraine.
“Most probably, he will come here on Aug. 19,” Victoria Zotikova,
head of the public relations group of the ICRC regional delegation to
Russia, Belarus and Moldova, told Interfax.
She declined to say which Russian officials Corbaz would meet in Moscow because the visit program had yet to be comprised.
Zotikova said on Aug. 14 Corbaz, who was staying in Kyiv, would come
to Moscow to discuss Ukrainian humanitarian affairs, including the
delivery of Russian humanitarian aid to southeastern Ukraine.
