LVIV – Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and UEFA President Michel Platini will hold a working meeting in Lviv on April 12, Head of Lviv Regional State Administration Mykhailo Kostiuk has said.
"The president of Ukraine and UEFA president will attend a ceremony to open the new Lviv airport, following which they will hold a working meeting," he said at a briefing on Wednesday.
According to Kostiuk, Platini and Yanukovych will also talk to reporters.
He added that the Ukrainian head of state would hold a meeting on Ukraine’s bid for hosting the 2022 Winter Olympics.
In addition, Yanukovych is to meet with intellectuals of Lviv region to tackle important issues in the humanitarian sphere.
