You're reading: Regions Party says its opponents are most active offenders of election legislation

According to regional headquarters of the Regions Party, it is the party's opponents, who violate the election legislation most often, Regions Party MP and the party's representative at the Central Election Commission Vladyslav Zabarsky has said.

“According to the regional election headquarters, violations of the legislation on elections are most often committed by our political opponents. Our figures differ from those published by Opora,” Zabarsky said.

Opora social network gives specific facts as examples of violations, but does not give a full list of them, the MP said.

“It is very difficult to draw full conclusions in such a case. I wish their work was based on proofs, and not politically engaged,” the politician said.

Zabarsky stressed that ratings of infringers of the legislation should be based on clear examples.

“The Regions Party reacts to each specific case in accordance with the law. We appeal to the police, the courts and election commissions with clear statements,” he said.

As reported, the Regions Party led a rating of parties violating election laws during the election campaign compiled by the Opora social network.
