The Regions Party will take into account critical comments on the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in a report of the OSCE election observation mission, MP Olena Bondarenko has said.
“The party will take into account the commentaries and certain
critical statements of the OSCE. But we would also like to stress that
the OSCE is not the only structure that observed the elections and
provided its assessments. This is just one of the assessments of the
elections in Ukraine,” she told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
As reported, OSCE observers expressed a negative opinion about the
process of counting votes at the parliamentary elections in Ukraine and
described some aspects of the pre-election campaign as “a step backward”
in comparison with the previous elections in Ukraine.
In addition, the OSCE said that voters should not suffer persecution and pressure from their employers or state agencies.
