Participants in the religious procession organized by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) have begun their march from European Square, where a prayer took place, in the direction of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra Monastery.

The procession participants are now walking along Hrushevskoho Street in a long column. The column is led by Metropolitan Onifriy, the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) and clergymen carrying holy banners and icons. They are followed by nuns and sisters of mercy and other procession participants.

There are police officers on both sides of the procession. Some police officers are walking and others are in vehicles or on bikes. The situation is calm.

There is a container with drinking water on the pavement for the procession participants, where everyone can get water to drink.

According to Red Cross volunteers, most of the people who sought medical attention during the prayer on Volodymyrska Hirka (St. Volodymyr Hill) were people who had lost consciousness or had blood pressure problems.
