You're reading: Right Sector’s Yarosh gone from the Interpol wanted list

The name and biography of Dmytro Yarosh, the radical far-right politician and the ex- leader of the Right Sector movement, had disappeared from the Interpol wanted list as of Jan. 2.

His profile is not now shown in the Wanted Person’s section on Interpol’s website. The Russian General Prosecutor’s Office requested to include Yarosh in the international wanted list in July 2014 on charges of incitement to terrorist and extremist activities involving the use of mass media.

Interpol’s representatives and Yarosh were not immediately available for comments.

On Nov. 15 Yarosh announced he is leaving the Right Sector to create the new organization in February 2016.

“Together with my team, we are working on the concept and principles of new organization. The new movement must be without the radicalism on the edge with marginalization and also without liberal demagogy,” Yarosh told BBC Ukraine on Dec. 28.
