LUHANSK - Russian-occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast and Ukraine will exchange captives in the 1-by-2 format on March 3, Russian-separatist representative in the Contact Group's humanitarian subgroup, Olga Kobtseva, said.

“We have just talked to the Ukrainian side: our exchange will take place on [March] 3 at 01:00 p.m. on the bridge outside the city of Schastia. The format is one by two so far,” the Luhansk information center quoted Kobtseva as saying.

Russian-separatist forces representative said that, thus, the sides would complete the process of swapping captives under the 4-by-8 formula, which has previously been agreed upon in Minsk.

“As a result of the additional talks, an agreement has been reached to complete the fulfillment of swapping under the previously agreed 4-by-8 formula, which was not observed during the February 26 swapping on the fault of Kyiv,” Kobtseva said.
