Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak has said that the parliament must be unblocked, but that he would very much rather it were not done by force.

“The hall should be unblocked and MPs should work,” the speaker said in an interview with the Rada TV Channel on Tuesday.

He also announced that representatives of the parliamentary majority said that they were ready to wait for a day or two, and then will unblock the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada.

“I really would not want it to be done by force,” Rybak said.
