Thirty people hurt in the events that occurred in Lviv last night have sought medical assistance, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy said.

“Thirty people have sought medical assistance. All necessary
assistance was provided to them,” he told a press conference on
Wednesday.

Among the victims are protesters who were involved in the seizure of some buildings and troops, Sadovy said.

About a dozen fires were registered in the city last night, the mayor
said, adding that the buildings damaged by the fires the most are
located near the interior troops unit on Lviv’s Stryiska Street. He also
said people hurt in the riots in Kyiv have been brought to Lviv, but
declined to give their number.

Last night, radical activists took over the buildings of the Lviv
region’s state administration, the Interior Ministry’s Main Department
in the Lviv region, the Ukrainian Security Service’s Department in the
Lviv region, the main department of the Revenues and Duties Ministry,
and several district police departments. They also set fire to and
seized the Police buildings. They gave all equipment
(helmets and shields) to Maidan participants and released the troops.

According to the Lviv mayor’s office, weapons went missing from the district police departments during these events.
