You're reading: SBU: All Boomerang plans shredded

All the documents that confirm the preparations for the Boomerang plan, which resulted in the shooting of unarmed citizens in Kyiv's downtown, have been destroyed, head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) internal security directorate Volodymyr Hryniak has reported.

“All of the documents have been destroyed,” he said, when asked by Hennadiy
Moskal, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada temporary inquiry panel on
investigating the illegal actions of the police and individual officials during
the protest events from November 2013 to February 2014, about whether the
Boomerang plan had been carried out

Hryniak confirmed that such plan had existed, but that all of the documents
have been destroyed, besides, and that even the acts ordering the shredding of
the main documents had met the same fate, he said.

As a correspondent of Interfax-Ukraine reported, a full meeting of the panel
on Thursday failed to occur since there was no quorum, but some issues were
still covered.
