Some 30,000 Russian troops, 160 tanks staying near Ukraine’s border

A total of 33,000 of Russian military and 160 tanks are staying on the territory adjacent to the border with Ukraine, Deputy Secretary of National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Mykhailo Koval has said.

“Up to 33,000 military of the Russian Armed Forces and up to 160
tanks are near the border with Ukraine,” Koval said in the Svoboda Slova
(Freedom of Speech) program on the ICTV Channel on Monday night, Aug. 4.
