A total of 3,770 police officers will be providing public order on the Ukrainian Independence Day in Kyiv, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry told Interfax.

“Three thousand seven hundred seventy police officers, including 950
Internal Troops servicemen, will be providing public order in Kyiv,” the
ministry’s spokesperson said.

The city authorities have received seven applications for conducting
mass events in the capital, to be attended by more than 30,000 people,
the police said. Most massive events are expected to be those by the
United Opposition, the Regions Party and the League of Slavic Youth, the
police said.
