You're reading: Ten people injured in Dnipropetrovsk blasts still hospitalized

Dnipropetrovsk, May 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ten of those injured in Dnipropetrovsk blasts on April 27, including one child, remain hospitalized as of today, reads a posting on the Web site of the Ukrainian Health Ministry.

One person is still in critical condition, one more person is in critical but stable condition, and the rest of the patients are stable, reads the report.

As reported, thirty one people were injured in four explosions that took place in Dnipropetrovsk on April 27. Of them, 26 were hospitalized.

The Security Service of Ukraine are investigating into a criminal case opened by the Prosecutor General’s Office under part 2 of Article 258 (terrorist attack) of the Ukrainian Criminal Code.

All of the explosive devices were planted in concrete trash bins.

Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko said that according to expert conclusions, they established that this was an improvised explosive device. The first explosive device contained the equivalent of some 160 grams of TNT, the second 190 grams, the third 230 grams, and the fourth 300 grams, he added.
