You're reading: The Guardian: FA is monitoring security in Ukraine after bomb blasts near Donetsk

The Football Association has confirmed it is monitoring the developing security situation in Ukraine after bombs last week hit Dnipropetrovsk, injuring at least 29 people.

The city is near Donetsk, where Roy Hodgson’s England play their group games against France and Ukraine. England will fly in from their Poland base in Krakow 24 hours before each match, and return immediately afterwards.
