Ukrainian Vice Premier and Social Policy Minister and Leader of the Strong Ukraine Party Sergiy Tigipko has said he is satisfied with the upcoming merger of his party with the Regions Party, which will take place when the latter is not topping the polls.
"Frankly speaking, I am glad that this process is taking place when the Regions Party is suffering in the polls. The strongest people, who believe in action and not time-serving, will [join the Regions Party]" he said during an online conference on Facebook on March 14.
Tigipko added that he would convince his party colleagues to join the Regions Party, explaining that the state needs reforms to be implemented.
