Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Social Policy Minister Sergiy Tigipko has said that the parliamentary majority has responsibly considered bills on pension reform at first reading.

"I’m pleased that the majority of the Verkhovna Rada absolutely responsibly considered the problems of our retirees and took a decision at first reading," he said at a press briefing on Thursday.

Tigipko said that now the main task was to clearly work out the amendments that will be filed between the first and second readings and to fully adopt the bill at second reading.
