A total of 84.1% of Ukrainians say they are going to vote at the presidential elections on May 25, according to the all-Ukrainian phone survey conducted by the GfK Ukraine upon the order of the Television News Service (TSN).

According the results of the survey, only 13.3% of respondents aren’t
going to participate in the expression of will and 2.5% said they
weren’t sure whether they would go to voting stations.

The highest number of those willing to go to the elections is in the
western Ukraine – 95.2%. Only 4.8% of respondents aren’t planning to go
to the polls.

In northern regions, a total of 90.7% of Ukrainians are going to the
polls, 7.8% aren’t voting, and the number of those not willing to do so
equals 1.4% of the respondents.

The results of the survey in the central regions showed that nine out
of ten Ukrainians (90.8%) were going to vote on May 25, while 7.9%
weren’t going to the elections and 1.3% remained undecided.

A total of 84.1% of respondents in the southern regions gave
affirmative answer to the poll’s question, 13.3% didn’t express any
desire to vote, and 2.5% failed to answer the question with confidence.
However, the percentage of those not willing to go to the polls is the
highest in the eastern regions – 29%, while 66.4% are going to vote, and
5.6% haven’t decided yet.

The survey was conducted through May 6-8 and involved respondents
representing Ukrainians over 18 years old selected at random according
to gender, age, size of the populated area and region. The sampling
error does not exceed 3.5%.
