Newly elected Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov claimed at the parliament session on Saturday that the Rada remains the only legitimate government body in Ukraine at the moment.
“The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada is the only legitimate government body in Ukraine today,” he said. Turchynov claimed that former Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko had gone “in an unknown direction.”
“President Yanukovych is also God knows where,” he said.
