Kyiv, October 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Yevgeny Kiselyov, a television journalist and media manager, has been appointed a full-time adviser to Group DF Managing Director Borys Krasniansky, the press service of Group DF reported on Wednesday.

“As a chairman of the supervisory board of Inter TV channel, I have worked all this year with Yevgeny Aleksandrovich [Kiselyov] and had an opportunity to appreciate his professional qualities. Therefore, I am pleased that he has accepted an offer of a job in Group DF,” the press service quoted Krasniansky as saying.

According to him, Kiselyov’s knowledge and experience will help in promoting the Group DF brand in foreign markets.

“One of the strategic objectives of the group is to bring our companies to the international capital markets,” Krasniansky said.

Prior to joining Group DF, Kiselyov served as Director of the National Information System, which is part of Inter Group, and supervised the information programs of the Inter channel. Earlier, he led a number of Russian TV channels.

Group DF is a diversified international group of companies, operating in a number of countries across Europe and Asia. Its principal areas of business are fertilizer and titanium industry, gas sector and banking. Other lines of activities of the Group currently include agribusiness, media business, soda ash production, energy infrastructure development and real estate.

The founder of Group DF is Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash.
