Twenty-three members of the Ukrainian government forces have been killed and about 100 others wounded in the anti-terrorist operation in southeastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours, Vladyslav Selezniov, an operation spokesman, said on Facebook on July 11.

“Twenty-three servicemen from Ukrainian forces and the State Border Service have been killed in the past 24 hours performing special missions in various districts where an active phase of the anti-terrorist operation is ongoing. Ninety-three Ukrainian servicemen and border guards have sustained injuries and concussions of various degrees,” Selezniov said.

Ukrainian military planes also carried out two airstrikes upon militant armor and other vehicles concentrated near the community of Perevalsk, Luhansk region, on July 11, Selezniov said. “The airstrikes destroyed some of the militants’ armored vehicles,” he said.
