The Batkivschyna Party demands Ukraine's Prime Minister Mykola Azarov should recall the bill, which allegedly envisages the cancelation of benefits for war veterans and people who suffered from the disaster at Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

"Our political force demands Prime Minister Azarov, since this draft law was submitted by Azarov, to recall this bill and not to disgrace himself," the party leader, Yulia Tymoshenko, told reporters in Kyiv on Friday.

She recalled that the prime minister submitted a bill to parliament which, in fact cancels the benefits to all war veterans, veterans of labor, benefits to Chornobyl accident liquidators and those affected by the Chornobyl disaster.

According to Tymoshenko, the bill also envisages the cancelation of benefits for the families of these categories of people.
