Kharkiv – According to the conclusions of a medical examination of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, which was conducted on the orders of Kyivsky District Court of Kharkiv, the general state of Tymoshenko's health was declared "stably satisfactory."

“According to medical records, from May 9, 2012 until present, Tymoshenko has been in a public health institution – Ukrzaliznytsia’s Central Clinical Hospital, where the medical staff of the hospital, under the supervision and on the recommendations of specialists from the German Charite Clinic, is conducting rehabilitation and therapeutic activities in accordance with the clinical diagnosis set by them. The detected painful changes are chronic, mild and pose no threat to Tymoshenko’s life… The general state of Tymoshenko’s health should be considered stably satisfactory, and no life-threatening conditions were reported during her stay in hospital,” according to the conclusions of the medical examination, which Judge Kostiantyn Sadovsky read out at a court meeting on the UESU case on Monday.

The conclusions also note that Tymoshenko’s condition allows her to perceive written and spoken language, as well as to participate in activities outside the hospital.

“The nature and degree of expression of clinical manifestations of the current diseases give grounds to believe that the health of Tymoshenko does not prevent her from perceiving written and spoken information, interpreting it and expressing her thoughts… The medical expert commission, based on the data of the available medical records, sees no medical grounds for Tymoshenko not to participate in activities outside the medical establishment, which require the perception and analytical synthesis of the information and the expression of her own views on the discussion,” according to the conclusions.
