You're reading: Ukraine delegation at PABSEC expresses protest during speech of Russia State Duma speaker

A delegation of the Ukrainian parliamentarians has held a protest when Russian State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin was speaking at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) in Bucharest.

“Representatives of Ukraine in PABSEC in all directions open eyes for the whole world to show that a present Russian Federation led by Putin (Russian President Vladimir Putin) and all representatives of political power, which supported bringing of the troops to Ukraine and annexation of Crimea, bringing the troops to Georgia and a silent and obedient attitude to this, are aggressors, terrorists and in near future social outcasts of the civilized world,’ wrote a member of the Ukrainian delegation, MP from Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Andriy Hordeyev on his account in Facebook.

Hordeyev reported that during Russian aggression against Ukraine was discussed during the assembly.

He posted the pictures, where the MP members of the Ukrainian delegation were standing in front of the rostrum when Naryshkin was delivering a speech. Parliamntarians held a state flag of Ukraine and a poster in English that reminded about Russian aggression against Georgia and Ukraine.

Ukrainian parliamentarian and Chairman of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar People held the poster “Putin, give Crimea back to us!”.

Hordeyev also reported that the delegations of Georgia, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria unanimously condemned the actions of Russian Federation towards Ukraine.
