Ukraine is expecting all EU countries to continue to put pressure on Russia to de-escalate situation in Donbas, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said.

”We also expect the EU to continue to put pressure on Russia,” he said at a briefing on Wednesday.

According to the spokesman, conclusions of the European Union adopted on June 27, show that the EU is more united than ever in its position over the crisis in Ukraine and condemnation of Russia’s position.

He said, however, that the European Union is a complicated mechanism, adding that as for strategic importance issues Europe still could unite and stick to one position.

”We believe that it will continue to do so,” Perebyinis said.
