MINSK - OSCE envoy Martin Sajdik pointed at the lack of progress in freeing captives by the conflicting parties in Donbas.

“The humanitarian subgroup takes new steps to learn about the fates of the illegally detained. The most complicated is the situation around their release,” Sajdik told reporters in Minsk.

The parties haven’t reached any firm agreements in this regard, he said. Sajdik also emphasized the coordinating part that the International Committee of the Red Cross must play in the release of those illegally detained.
