Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has placed national security and defense on the list of top priority directions of developing science and technology.
“The list of top priority special directions of developing science and technology for which targeted programs are drawn up, state order for the most important scientific and technological (experimental) projects and scientific and technological products were expanded with new directions, in particular, aimed at supporting national security and defense of Ukraine,” the press service of the Education and Science Ministry of Ukraine reported.
According to the report, the updated list is to help to focus public financial resources and attention of scientists on solving the most urgent scientific, technological and social tasks, in particular, those appearing in the conditions of a long-lasted military conflict.
