The Batkivschyna united opposition will hold a congress on July 30, the organizing committee chief and vice-chairman of the Batkivschyna Party Oleksandr Turchynov has announced.

“In view of the provocations being plotted by the government for July
31 – fresh hearings in the Yulia Tymoshenko trial in Kharkiv, and
another provocative and unconstitutional event in parliament – the
decision has been made to hold a congress of the Batkivschyna united
opposition on July 31,” Turchynov said at a press conference in Kyiv on
Thursday, July 26.
