The Ukrainian side is fully implementing the Minsk agreements and also has sufficient forces and means for the protection of the homeland, Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak said.

“The Ukrainian armed forces have directed all the forces for readiness to any events,” Poltorak said in reply to journalists’ questions in Kyiv on Monday as to whether the Ukrainian army is ready to any changes of the situation in the military operation zone due to the end of the effect of the Minsk agreements soon.

“Today we have enough forces and means in the anti-terrorism operation area, we have honored all the requirements of the Minsk agreements,” the Ukrainian defense minister said.

“Today all the firing ranges are cramped with the personnel, which is passing training, training for an occasion, if someone will wish to violate peace and calmness and move inside Ukraine,” he said.
