Acting head of the Ukrainian interim president's administration, Serhiy Pashynsky, has tendered his resignation.

A scan copy of Pashynsky’s resignation letter addressed to Chairman
of the Verkhovna Rada, Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov
was posted on the LB.ua Web site.

“In connection with the election of the president of Ukraine and the
inauguration of the newly elected president, I request termination of my
powers as the head of the presidential administration of Ukraine,” the
statement reads.

As reported, Pashynsky headed the interim president’s administration on March 5.

Pashynsky served as acting head of the administration while remaining
member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Batkivschyna faction).
