The operation of the Zaytseve crossing point in Donetsk Oblast will be resumed on February 20, the press center of the anti-terrorist operation headquarters in Donbas said.

“To ease social tensions the command of the anti-terrorist operation headquarters decided to resume the operation of the Zaytseve crossing point in the routine mode beginning from February 20,” the press center said in a statement on Facebook.

Shellings have become much less intensive at this crossing point in the last few days, the headquarters said. Therefore, residents of Donbas localities uncontrolled by the Kyiv authorities will be able to freely enter Ukrainian territory beginning from Feb. 20.

The Zaytseve crossing point was temporarily closed on Feb. 3 after militants have shelled the crossing point several times by large-caliber mortars.
